BAZINGA!

No call by 4:30 yesterday from radiology had me calling them just to make sure I hadn't misunderstood who was supposed to be calling who to set up this full body scan thing.  Called and they said insurance hadn't given the approval yet.  Told them it was put in that morning and they said that normally if it's not approved by now it takes a few days of negotiating.  If I don't hear anything back by oh, Tues, then it'll be another call to see what's up.  Saw J yesterday when I went in for allergy shots and gave her a hug and asked her if I could get the scan thing done there at the hospital and she said she's pretty sure as it involved dye stuff that they wouldn't be able to do it there but when they call to schedule I can always ask.  Of course, still no call from anyone ;-)  She also said that I'll be needing to have another follow-up appt with Dr P 2 days or so after the scan and apparently you can't have co-pays charged after the fact so going to have to scrounge up a little more.

Bonus in my court for the moment is that the H&R Blockhead check has apparently been approved to cover their mistake from 2009 taxes and should be in the mail and here to me by the end of next week *crosses fingers*  Going to delve a little into it and then pay in full before taxes are due April 18.  Means I shouldn't be hurting as much on all these appts.  Already spent some time on the budge this morning seeing how to make sure that I'd get what I wanted to take out for survival the next two months paid back by the April 15 paycheck I get and it's totally doable.  Spreadsheet updated and things were pretty much looking shiny most of the day.  Last half has been fudging awful, but work's over in 2 minutes and then on to home and a couple of my favorite boys and some RP hopefully with the Dresden Files game and chilling until tomorrow when I gotta bust butt to get that spare room cleaned for B moving in in a couple weeks.

My that was a long sentence :-)
