Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps...

Greetings and even some salutations!

Here we are, end of week two not taking the methotrexate.  ... Ssssshhhhh!!!  Don't tell anyone!!  Well, at least not yet.  Believe my follow-up with Dr P is next week so I'll see then if it's "ok" for me to stop taking it and find out what exactly it's supposed to be doing for me considering I've been not taking it almost two whole weeks now and no pain; at least not since I started up the prednisone again.  15mg first day I went back on then dropped down to 10 through yesterday and tried 5 today just to get a feel for where new threshold is at since body didn't seem to care for going fro 60mg to 0.  oops.  I'm hoping that body's less angry now that it's had a bit and I can just ease off the last 5 in a not sudden manner and have no pain at all not taking it.  Issue is along with a bit of pain there was also pressure in the chest/hard time breathing creeping up when I finally made the decision to start taking it again.  Either it was leftovers of the bronchitis not quite gone yet or my worse fear is that it was the pericarditis starting to creep back up.  Ugh.  Either way, 15mg took care of it pretty much instantly.  *sighs*  So need off of this stuff.  Going to try 5 through the weekend then start lowing again next week.  Here's hoping the various 2000 parts stay happy.  Better since they're breaking my financially ;-)  1k now in medical bills due as another I didn't know existed apparently finally made its way through insurance where they decided they weren't paying any of it so I owe another $325 on top of the $630ish from my week of medical stuff a few weeks ago. Dang it  :-)  Everybody's getting 25 bucks a paycheck.  They may not like it, but that's all there is, folks.  Will up the amounts as finances allow, but that's where I'm starting.  At least it's something.  Small just be scratching the paint, but at some point I'll finally make a dent.  By golly.

Finally made it to Season 7 of Buffy.  Think I'll keep working on that tonight as it looks like I won't have company aside from the kitties.  Must work on the grub from soon, too.  Nom nom nom.
